CVR: Gov Adeleke Appeals For Mass Participation

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has called on residents to actively participate in the ongoing continuous voter registration exercise, which began nationwide on August 18. He emphasized the importance of this civic responsibility, especially for those who have recently come of voting age.

Adeleke highlighted the significance of the 2026 governorship election in ensuring good governance in the state and urged eligible voters to ensure they are duly registered. He also encouraged those who may have lost or misplaced their voter cards to obtain new ones.

Adeleke stressed the need for mass participation in order to protect the right to vote and prevent electoral malpractice. He called on state officials and community leaders to mobilize people to register and expressed optimism in the electoral commission's ability to conduct seamless operations.
