CVR: Osun residents besiege INEC offices as physical registration kicks off (PHOTOS)

Osun residents in large numbers flocked to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices across the state to register for Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) as the physical Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise commenced. The registration centers were activated in all 30 local government areas and the INEC state headquarters in Osogbo.

Dr. Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun, confirmed the activation of the registration centers and emphasized the importance of ensuring that all eligible voters participate in the process ahead of the 2026 governorship election in the state.

The INEC commissioner also highlighted the need for a transparent and efficient registration process. The CVR exercise had initially started with online registration on August 18, 2025.
