INEC Reports 509,929 New Registrants with Women Leading CVR Process

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reported a total of 509,929 new registrants in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, with women leading the registration process. The registration figures include both online and physical registrations, with a higher number of women participating.

INEC disclosed that the online registration phase has concluded, and the physical registration phase will commence in designated venues after two weeks. The registration process aims to increase voter participation and ensure a more inclusive electoral system in Nigeria.
