Oyebamiji Prioritizes Dagbolu Dry Port Revival for Osun

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate for Osun State, has identified the revival of the Dagbolu Dry Port as a key component of his economic strategy aimed at transforming Osun into a leading investment and industrial hub. During a meeting in Osogbo with members of the Waterfront Boat Owners and Transporters Association of Nigeria on Saturday, Oyebamiji, who previously served as the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, presented his Osun prosperity agenda titled ‘A Pact for Growth, Inclusion and Lasting Development.’ He emphasized that revitalizing the Dagbolu Dry Port, along with other strategic assets, would enhance trade facilitation, boost logistics, and attract both local and foreign investments.

Oyebamiji stated that these efforts would stimulate commerce, support entrepreneurship, and create sustainable job opportunities. Tope Fajemirokun, President of WABOTAN, praised Oyebamiji's administrative capabilities and expressed confidence that his successful tenure at NIWA would be mirrored in Osun State.
