PDP to Fly Flags at Half-Mast for Dan Orbih's Death

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that all its offices across Nigeria will fly the party’s flags at half-mast for three days to honor the late Chief Dr Dan Orbih, who served as the National Vice-Chairman (South-South) and died in London after a brief illness. The announcement was made in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by the National Publicity Secretary, Honourable Jungudo Haruna Mohammed.

The PDP described Orbih's death as a “great loss” to the party, his family, and the broader democratic community. The party acknowledged Orbih as a “loyal, committed and dependable” member who dedicated himself to the ideals of democracy and the advancement of the PDP.

It emphasized that his contributions to the party's growth and stability would be deeply appreciated and remembered. The PDP also extended condolences to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Nyesom Wike, recognizing Orbih as a strong ally and close confidant of the minister.
