Dangote Faces Setback in Fuel Distribution Plan with CNG Trucks

Dangote Petroleum Refinery faces delays in its fuel distribution plan using CNG trucks due to disruptions in shipments from China. The refinery had planned to start nationwide trucking of petroleum products from its $20 billion refinery but faced setbacks.

The delay was attributed to inadequate availability of ships in China for transporting the ordered trucks. Despite the challenges, the company remains committed to the project, with plans to invest in CNG stations and a fleet of 100 CNG tankers for seamless product distribution nationwide.
