Daniel Not Above the Law, Says Abiodun Amid Demolition Row

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun responded to former governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel's outcry over alleged plans to demolish his property, including the Conference Hotel in Sagamu. The government stated that Daniel, like others in the neighborhood, must comply with lawful directives and provide necessary permits for verification.

The government emphasized that the demolition was not politically motivated but part of a holistic development effort in the state, including affordable housing projects and urban renewal initiatives. The government is conducting an audit of existing developments in the area to ensure compliance with regulations.

The Ogun State Government maintained that the demolition notices served to Daniel and others were in line with the Town Planning Law and Regulations of the state.
