Dave Umahi Appoints Franci Nwaze as Media Aide

On an unspecified date, Dave Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State, appointed Franci Nwaze as his Senior Special Assistant on Media, effective immediately. Nwaze brings extensive experience in public communication and media relations, having previously served as a Special Assistant to the Governor and as a media spokesperson from 2019 to 2023.

His earlier work includes serving as a technical assistant in media from 2017 to 2019. Nwaze holds a diploma in journalism, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University in Ebonyi State.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor expressed strong confidence in Nwaze's competence and dedication to his profession. The administration expects Nwaze to apply his experience to strengthen public communication and advance information outreach objectives of the ministry's work.
