Umahi Appoints Francis Nwaze as Media Assistant

On an unspecified date, David Umahi, the Minister, appointed Francis Nwaze as the Senior Special Assistant on Media, effective immediately. Nwaze replaces Uchenna Orji in this position.

According to a statement issued by the Minister's Chief of Staff, Nwaze is expected to leverage his extensive experience in public communication and media to fulfill his duties. Nwaze has previously served as a special assistant on media and spokesperson for the governor from 2019 to 2023 and worked as a technical assistant on media from 2017 to 2019.

He holds a diploma in journalism and both bachelor's and master's degrees from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and Ebonyi State University. The Chief of Staff expressed strong confidence in Nwaze's competence, dedication, and professionalism, anticipating that he will strengthen public communication and advance information outreach objectives for the Federal Ministry.
