Dayot Upamecano Signs New Deal with Bayern Munich Until 2030

Dayot Upamecano has committed his future to Bayern Munich by signing a new long-term contract that extends his stay with the Bundesliga champions until June 30, 2030. The 27-year-old central defender joined Bayern from RB Leipzig ahead of the 2021-2022 campaign and has since become an important player at the Allianz Arena, contributing to the team's success by lifting three Bundesliga titles and three domestic Supercups.

Bayern Munich's chief executive, Jan-Christian Dreesen, and board member for sport, Max Eberl, acknowledged Upamecano's significant contributions, noting that he has made 180 appearances for the club. Additionally, Upamecano has earned 35 caps for the French national football team, further highlighting his status as a key player in both club and international football.
