Kumuyi Declares His Son Will Not Succeed Him in Church

W.F. Kumuyi, the founder and leader of Deeper Life Bible Church, addressed speculation regarding the succession of church leadership, asserting that his son will not inherit his position.

During a recent church service, Kumuyi emphasized that the church belongs solely to Jesus Christ and that its leadership is determined by divine direction rather than familial ties. He referenced biblical figures such as Peter, Paul, and John, noting that none of them passed their leadership roles to their children.

Kumuyi's remarks come amid growing public discussion about the transition of leadership within religious organizations and the involvement of family members. He reinforced the principle that leadership in Deeper Life is guided by spiritual conviction rather than hereditary succession.
