Kumuyi Rejects Hereditary Succession in Churches

Pastor William Kumuyi, founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, addressed public speculation regarding hereditary succession in churches. He stated that it is wrong to hand over churches to one's son, asserting that the church is owned by Jesus Christ and not by any individual.

Kumuyi emphasized that no one has the right to claim ownership of the church, including his own sons. He referenced biblical teachings, stating that the church is built upon the rock of Jesus Christ and not upon any person, including apostles like Peter or Paul.
