Peter Obi and Amaechi Visit Kwankwaso for Political Talks

On a recent Monday, prominent political figures including Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, and Aminu Tambuwal visited the residence of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State. This visit is significant as it signals a potential defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Kwankwaso, who is also a leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), shared his thoughts via a statement released on Sunday, expressing his delight at welcoming these opposition leaders. He acknowledged the difficulty of leaving a party but emphasized the necessity of aligning with a platform that could better contribute to the nation's political landscape amid recent changes.
