ADC Gains Momentum in Edo as Members Defect from APC, PDP

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has experienced a notable influx of members from the All Progressives Congress (APC), People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Labour Party (LP) in Okpebholo District, Edo State. During a gathering in Ewohimi, Esan South-East Local Government Area, ADC's state chairman Toni Alil and party stalwart Kenneth Imansuagbon formally welcomed numerous defectors who pledged allegiance to the ADC.

This movement is characterized as a strategic breakthrough, reflecting a growing public dissatisfaction with the current political landscape. Alil emphasized that the ADC's growth is a response to citizens' frustrations regarding insecurity, economic hardship, and unemployment.

The event also featured Barnaba Odion, who declared his intention to contest the Esan South-East state constituency seat on the ADC platform, citing years of neglect and poor representation in the area. This development is expected to strengthen the ADC's grassroots presence in the Esan Central Senatorial District as it prepares for future political contests in Edo State.
