ADC Gains Momentum with Recent Defections in Edo State

Kenneth Imansuangbon, a former governorship aspirant in Edo State, expressed that the recent wave of defections from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) reflects an increasing public confidence in the ADC as a credible alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections. Imansuangbon noted that the influx of new members, including prominent figures such as Chief Clifford Eineh and Herbert Okonofua, signals a shift in the political landscape of the state.

The event attracted key stakeholders, including Hon. Sylvest Ewanehi and ADC state chairman Kennedy Odion.

Imansuangbon urged Nigerians to reclaim their mandate at the ballot, emphasizing that voters are increasingly determined to reject failed leadership. He expressed confidence that voters would resist attempts by Governor Mondai Okpebholo to secure a second term in office.

Additionally, Prof. Oserhimen Osunbor, a former governor and ADC national legal adviser, commended the commitment of the new members to strengthen the party.
