Defence Minister Stresses Moral Support for Troops

On a recent occasion, Gen. Christoph Musa, the Defence Minister of Nigeria, reaffirmed the critical role of spiritual and moral support in strengthening the military's resolve to protect the nation amid ongoing insecurity. This statement was made during a visit by Pastor Lazarus Muoka of the Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry to the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja.

Gen. Musa highlighted that the fight against insurgency, banditry, and terrorism requires a comprehensive approach involving the entire society. He stressed the importance of prayer and encouraged religious bodies to continue uplifting the morale of troops deployed across various operational theaters nationwide.

The Defence Minister reiterated that the armed forces remain committed to defending Nigeria's territorial integrity and safeguarding the lives and properties of its citizens. He urged religious leaders to promote unity and patriotism among the populace to support the military's efforts.
