Defence Minister Backs Tinubu, Sani for 2027 Elections

On a Friday meeting in Kaduna, Gen. Christopher Musa (retd.), the Minister of Defence, reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This declaration was made during a gathering of local government coordinators of GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027, a political mobilization structure aimed at garnering support for Tinubu and Sani.

Musa interacted with coordinators from all 23 local government areas of Kaduna State and representatives from over 300 affiliated support groups. He urged the movement's members to remain committed to their mobilization efforts, highlighting the need for unity and determination in building a prosperous Nigeria.

Musa also spoke about the importance of religious tolerance and national unity, sharing personal experiences from his childhood in Sokoto. He emphasized that Nigeria possesses vast human and material resources that can drive national development if citizens work together.

Polycarp Gankon, the National Coordinator of the movement, thanked Musa for his engagement and support.
