General Musa Calls for Integrity in Nation-Building

During a combined convocation ceremony at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in Kaduna on March 28, 2026, General Christoph Musa, the Minister of Defence, highlighted the importance of integrity, accountability, and commitment from all citizens for effective nation-building. He urged graduates to embrace patriotism and contribute meaningfully to national development, emphasizing that academic success comes with the responsibility to support the country's growth and security.

A total of 3,003 students were awarded diplomas and degrees, marking a significant milestone for AFIT, which attained degree-awarding status in the 2018/2019 academic session. Musa underscored that Nigeria's progress relies on individual commitment to integrity and accountability.

Additionally, he noted AFIT's crucial role in producing skilled manpower essential for advancing science and technology. The event was represented by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, who issued a statement on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Richard Pheelangwah.
