Oborevwori Confident of 2027 Election Victory in Delta

Sheriff Oborevwori, the current governor of Delta State, stated that the upcoming 2027 governorship election will be a "walkover" for him, emphasizing the significant achievements of his administration. During the inauguration of a new 4.8-kilometer road in Oko Kingdom, located in the Oshimili South Local Government Area, he reflected on his victory in the 2023 elections, where he won in 21 out of 25 local government areas despite not being in office at that time.

Oborevwori highlighted that Delta State has become a "no-go area" for opposing political parties due to the visible infrastructural developments and strengthened public confidence in his governance. He noted that the road project aims to improve connectivity and economic activities, particularly for farmers who previously faced challenges transporting their goods, especially during the rainy season.

Patrick Ukah, the Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), also spoke about the milestone infrastructure developments enhancing residents' connectivity.
