Delta State Confirms Former Governor Uduaghan is Alive

The Delta State Government has officially debunked rumors circulating on social media about the death of former governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, describing the claims as false and misleading. The clarification was made on Wednesday by Ossai Success, the senior special assistant on media to the current governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.

Success contacted Uduaghan's family to verify the reports and spoke directly with Uduaghan's daughter, Orod Uduaghan, who confirmed that her father is alive. The government expressed disappointment over the spread of unverified information, urging the public to refrain from sharing such rumors, which can cause emotional distress to families and loved ones.

The statement emphasized the need for respect for the life of leaders and called for the public to disregard the false reports.
