Delta Governor Oborevwori Reshuffles Cabinet Ahead of 2027

On Friday, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State announced a cabinet reshuffle, which included the appointment of new commissioners after the resignations of several officials. The resignations were made in pursuit of political ambitions ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The reshuffle was confirmed by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Charl Aniagwu, who stated that the changes were necessary following the resignation of the former Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support, and Girl Child Development, Orod Uduaghan, and the Commissioner for Youth Development, Thankgod Trakiriowei. The new supervisory arrangements took immediate effect, pending further announcements from the state government.

Governor Oborevwori expressed appreciation for the service of the former commissioners and wished them success in their future endeavors.
