Delta Police Arrest Three Women for Drug Trafficking

On May 7, 2026, the Delta State Police Command conducted a covert operation in Warri, leading to the arrest of three female suspects involved in drug trafficking. The operation, carried out at 9:20 PM, targeted a drug hideout in the Ogbomoro and Ugolo communities.

The arrested individuals include 25-year-old Favor Isaac, identified as a drug baron, along with accomplices Favor Felix, 24, and Samson Precious, 19. The police recovered 21 bottles of codeine, two canisters of nitrous oxide (commonly known as laughing gas), and 640 grams of a psychoactive chewing gum brand called High Gum, as well as Canadian Loud, a type of cannabis.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Rukew Tega Isaac is a major supplier linked to the drug network. Delta State Police Commissioner Yemi Oyeniyi reaffirmed the command's commitment to intensifying operations against drug-related crimes, emphasizing the connection between substance abuse and violent crime among youth.
