Nwifuru Deploys 31 Patrol Vehicles for Security in Ebonyi

On Democracy Day, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State announced the deployment of 31 patrol vehicles to various security agencies in the state. This initiative aims to strengthen safety measures and protect lives and property.

The brief ceremony took place at the new government house in Abakaliki. Governor Nwifuru commended the professionalism and dedication of security operatives in the state, emphasizing the importance of a technology-driven approach to combat crime.

He noted the need for strong synergy among security agencies, including the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. The governor highlighted the administration's investment in modern security tools, such as drones and intelligence equipment, to enhance surveillance and rapid response to threats.

He urged security personnel to remain vigilant and maintain professionalism amid rising political activities in the state.
