Nwifuru Distributes 31 Vehicles to Enhance Security in Ebonyi

On June 12, 2023, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State distributed 31 operational vehicles to security agencies in the state, including the Nigerian Police Force, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Prison Service, and Civil Defence Corps. The distribution took place at the Governor's Office in Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki.

Governor Nwifuru emphasized the importance of these vehicles in addressing social disturbances and enhancing the agencies' ability to respond to emergencies. He commended the agencies for their selfless service and technical expertise in maintaining security.

Nwifuru explained that the provision of these vehicles was necessary due to the challenges posed by non-state actors in the suburbs of the state, aiming to instill confidence in the public and ensure effective management of security resources.
