Kano APC Stakeholders Endorse Garo for Deputy Governor

A late-night strategic meeting held on Saturday revealed overwhelming support among Kano APC stakeholders for Garo as the candidate to fill the deputy governor vacancy created by the resignation of Abdussalam Aminu Gwarzo. The meeting, attended by influential figures including former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and House of Representatives leader Alhassan Ado Doguwa, resulted in a near-unanimous endorsement, securing 90% support from attendees.

Doguwa emphasized Garo's loyalty and suitability as a grassroots-driven politician, urging Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to select him. The stakeholders had submitted three names, including Garo, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, and Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, but the deliberations quickly favored Garo.

The meeting aimed to ensure unity within the APC and stabilize Kano's political landscape at this crucial moment.
