Kalu Secures APC Ticket for Bende Constituency Unopposed

On Saturday, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Bende Federal Constituency unopposed for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Kalu, a registered member of the APC, was pronounced the candidate during an exercise held across the 13 electoral wards of the constituency.

The process saw a large turnout of party members and stakeholders, who commended Kalu's leadership and legislative performance. They noted his commitment to grassroots development, which contributed to his unopposed emergence as the candidate.
