D'Tigers Fall to 53rd in Latest FIBA World Rankings

In the latest FIBA world rankings, Nigeria's national basketball team, D'Tigers, has slipped to the 53rd position, a decline from their previous rank of 50th. Despite this drop in global standing, D'Tigers maintain their eighth position in the African rankings.

Seven countries are currently ranked ahead of Nigeria in Africa, including South Sudan, Angola, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Senegal, Cape Verde, and Tunisia. The top ten African rankings are completed by Cameroon and Mali.

On a global scale, the United States of America continues to hold the top position in the FIBA world rankings.
