Genk's Rafiu Durosinmi Compared to Osimhen by Dosunmu

Tosin Dosunmu, who is both a Super Eagles striker and the agent for Rafiu Durosinmi, has drawn comparisons between Durosinmi and Victor Osimhen, particularly noting Durosinmi's exceptional aerial ability. Durosinmi, a 23-year-old forward, has made a strong start to the 2026/27 season with Genk, scoring five goals in six Jupiler Pro League matches since his transfer from Italian club Pisa during the summer transfer window.

He had a notable four-match scoring streak and is currently tied for the top spot in the Belgian league's scoring chart with Mustapha Ubandoma of RAAL La Louviere. Dosunmu expressed his admiration for Durosinmi's immediate impact, stating that he impressed on his first league appearance after only ten days of training.

However, he also mentioned that Durosinmi needs to improve his fitness and team chemistry. Durosinmi debuted for the Super Eagles in May during the Unity Cup and is looking to maintain his form as the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers approach.
