E-Visa 2026 Summit Honors Cultural Leaders in Lagos

At the E-Visa 2026 Summit, held in Lagos, Karl Hala, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Eko Hotel and Suites, and Okundaye, founder of Nike Art Gallery, were among the recipients of prestigious awards recognizing their contributions to Nigeria's creative and cultural industries. The event, chaired by Lai Mohammed, emphasized the significance of culture in promoting economic resilience and development.

Okundaye was specifically acknowledged for her role in enhancing Nigerian textiles on the global stage and for her contributions to job creation in the creative sector. The summit also featured discussions on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the creative industry and the establishment of a 22-member post-COVID-19 initiative committee aimed at assessing and recommending policies for recovery.
