NSCDC Deploys 365 Personnel for Easter Security in Zamfara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced the deployment of 365 personnel to secure worship centers throughout Zamfara State during the Easter celebrations. This initiative was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the command's public relations officer, Asci Umar.

The deployment, led by the state command under Sani Mustapha, is strategically planned to cover the Easter period, focusing on strengthening security presence at worship centers to safeguard lives and protect critical infrastructure across 14 local government areas. The command has charged its officers to maintain discipline and professionalism, ensuring effective operational coverage to sustain peace and order throughout the festive period.

Sani Mustapha reaffirmed the corps' commitment to its mandate of protecting lives and property, warning that anyone found engaging in criminal activities will be dealt with according to the law. Additionally, the command extended Easter greetings to Christians, urging unity and prayers for peace in the country.
