NSCDC Deploys 2,350 Personnel for Eid el-Fitr Security

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced the deployment of 2,350 personnel throughout Kwara State to maintain peace and security during the Eid el-Fitr celebrations. This initiative received direct approval from the state command, led by Bala Bawa Bodinga.

The primary objective of this deployment is to protect critical national assets and ensure the safety of residents across all 16 local government areas in the state. The NSCDC is implementing heightened vigilance during the festive period, focusing on identified flashpoints and high-risk corridors.

Additionally, the command has revealed the seizure of 200 compressors used for manufacturing explosives, indicating a proactive approach to security. The strategic coverage plan is based on detailed threat assessments to ensure effective monitoring and response during the celebrations.
