Kwara Police Enhance Security for Easter Celebrations

The Kwara State Police Command has implemented extensive security measures across the state in anticipation of the Easter celebrations. A statement released on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Adetoun Ejir Adeyemi, outlined the deployment of officers to strategic locations, including churches and recreational areas, to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free festive period.

The command, led by Commissioner of Police Adekimi Ojo, emphasized proactive measures to safeguard lives and property throughout the celebrations. Special attention will be given to areas expected to witness large gatherings.

The police have mobilized tactical units and patrol teams to maintain security and provide rapid responses as necessary. The command has urged collaboration with community religious leaders to enhance security coverage and ensure seamless coordination.
