Ebonyi Exam Centre Goes Digital, Resolves Certificate Backlog

The Ebonyi State Examination Development Centre (EDC) has successfully eliminated the backlog in issuing First School Leaving Certificates and has transitioned to fully digital operations. Dr.

Lawrence Otusinkama, the Registrar of the Centre, made this announcement during an oversight visit by the Ebonyi State House of Assembly Committee on Education, led by Chairman Barr. Nwodo Aloysius Nwodo.

Dr. Otusinkama credited the Centre's achievements to reforms under his leadership and the support of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

The Centre now issues examination results and certificates within 30 days post-examinations, ending years of delays. He noted that these reforms have restored public confidence in the examination system, which was previously met with skepticism.

The Centre maintains affordable examination fees and adheres to its examination calendar, with continued support from the State Government. Barr.
