Ebonyi State Government to Engage Professionals to Prevent Building Collapses

Ebonyi State Government, through Commissioner Sunday Inyima, has received a report on the partial collapse of the Pentagon Hostel at Alex Ekweme Federal University. In response, the government plans to engage professional engineers and other experts to prevent future building collapses.

The government will form a committee to address building structural issues in the state. The hostel, occupied by students, partially collapsed, prompting the investigation.

Inyima emphasized the importance of timely intervention to prevent such incidents in the future.
