Ebuka Onunkwo Responds to Soludo's 'Illiterate' Remark

Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, the Anambra South senatorial candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), addressed comments made by Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, who referred to him as an "illiterate factory owner." Onunkwo stated he would not engage in a political confrontation with Soludo, emphasizing his focus on his senatorial ambitions and the upcoming election. Soludo made his remarks during a visit to Ihembosi, urging the community to support the APGA candidate, Senator Emma Nwachukwu, instead of Onunkwo.

Despite the criticism, Onunkwo expressed confidence in his ability to win the election, stating that the electorate would determine his popularity. He highlighted his previous role as the chairman of Soludo's campaign organization in Ekwusigo Local Government Area, asserting that he is not merely a factory owner but an industrialist.

Onunkwo concluded by affirming his intention to work with Soludo for the betterment of Anambra State if elected.
