APC Chieftain Optimistic About Edo LG Elections

Hon. Crosbi Eribo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the local government elections scheduled for Saturday in Egor, Edo State, will strengthen grassroots governance and deepen democratic participation across the state.

Speaking to journalists shortly after casting his vote at unit 20, ward 6, Eribo described the elections as crucial for consolidating democratic institutions at the grassroots level. He urged political parties to support the electoral process and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise.

Eribo commended the orderly conduct of the electoral process and the impressive voter turnout, as well as the efforts of electoral officials to ensure a smooth exercise. He praised the security agencies for maintaining law and order at the polling units, noting that their presence contributed to a peaceful atmosphere during the voting.

Eribo expressed confidence in the APC's chances of winning and emphasized the party's commitment to fulfilling its promises to the people.
