Okpebholo Strengthens APC Structures in Edo State

On Monday, Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo of Edo State met with All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders and members from the 18 local government areas at the Government House in Benin City. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to enhancing grassroots governance and strengthening APC structures.

Okpebholo expressed gratitude to party members for their support and stressed the importance of unity and cooperation within the party. He stated that the APC is a collective platform, attributing electoral successes to the contributions of its members.

The governor announced plans to appoint 4,000 Special Assistants, emphasizing that the party's victory is a collective achievement, not solely his. APC State Chairman Jarret Tenebe praised Okpebholo for his efforts to reposition the party and improve its operational capacity, including plans for a dedicated vehicle for party activities.

He noted the party's active participation in local government elections, supporting candidates without requiring personal campaign financing.
