Eid-el-Kabir: Meat Distributed to 300 IDPs in Abuja

On Wednesday, during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, the Federal Emergency Management Department (FEMD) and the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) distributed meat to 300 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Abuja. Mr.

Shuaibu Usman, the Assistant Director of FEMD, explained that this initiative aimed to provide succor to displaced individuals who often lack the means to celebrate during festive seasons. He noted that the gesture was necessary to reach less privileged members of society.

Engr. Ikenna Toni Adikib, Deputy National President of ALGON, also extended warm greetings to the Muslim community across Nigeria, urging true devotion and unity among the ummah.

He called for a renewed commitment to the pillars of Islam and emphasized the importance of public safety and collaboration among security agencies to ensure a peaceful celebration.
