Defence Minister Urges Unity and Security on Eid El-Kabir

During the Eid El-Kabir celebrations, General Christoph Gwabin Musa, the Minister of Defence, extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and emphasized the importance of unity and recommitment to national security. He highlighted that Eid El-Kabir symbolizes supreme sacrifice and total obedience to divine will, urging Nigerians to embody these values to strengthen the nation's fabric.

General Musa commended the bravery and resilience of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, acknowledging their tireless efforts to safeguard the nation's territorial integrity and combat crime across various operational theaters. He called on citizens to remain vigilant and support security agencies by reporting suspicious activities within their communities.

The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to providing necessary support, welfare, and equipment to the Armed Forces to decisively defeat threats to national peace. He concluded by wishing the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all Nigerians a peaceful celebration.
