Defence Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Nigeria's Security

General Musa, the Defence Minister of Nigeria, spoke at the Southern Kaduna Festival held in Kafanchan, Jema Local Government Area, Kaduna State. He emphasized the government's commitment to protecting Nigeria and promoting peace, stating that security cannot be achieved without the cooperation of all citizens.

Musa commended the festival as a platform for cultural promotion and unity among diverse communities. He addressed the youth, urging them to invest in education and skill acquisition to contribute positively to the nation.

In an interview, he assessed the government's performance in security under President Bola Tinubu's administration, giving a score of 65-70% despite ongoing issues with attacks, kidnappings, and banditry. Musa argued that Nigeria has made significant gains against terrorism and that the overall security situation has improved compared to previous years.
