Eight Arrested for Robbery and Drug Dealing in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command arrested eight suspects involved in robbery and drug dealing in Yola South Local Government Area. The operation, which took place on a Monday, was coordinated by the police following credible intelligence.

The suspects, identified as Bawuro Mohammad (23), Hamza Hassan (18), Aliyu Abubakar (20), Alfa Abubakar (22), Fahat Hamma (20), Dahiru Usman (20), Ibrahim Samaila (22), and Jefe Jostin (25), were apprehended in various locations within the Shagari Yold Pate Wuro Hausa area. The operation aimed to dismantle a criminal network and prevent violent crime in the state.

During the operation, dangerous weapons and banned substances believed to be connected to unlawful activities were recovered. The State Commissioner of Police, Kabiru Hassan, assured the public of a thorough investigation and warned criminal elements to desist from unlawful activities, stating that those found culpable would be prosecuted according to the law.
