Anambra Police Arrest Three for Armed Robbery and Drugs

On June 19, 2026, at approximately 6:00 PM, the Anambra State Police Command arrested three individuals connected to armed robbery, drug peddling, and cult activities during a patrol along Igbariam-Achalla Road. The suspects, identified as William Ndifon and David Missang, both aged 27, were found riding a motorcycle.

A thorough search of the suspects led to the recovery of a locally made Beretta pistol, live ammunition, six GSM phones, two power banks, a sledgehammer, a chisel, and a quantity of cannabis sativa. Additionally, another suspect, Oluchukwu Onyekw, a 21-year-old from Agukwu Nri in the Anambra State, was arrested on the same date for possessing a significant quantity of dried weed, preliminarily linked to cult-related activities.
