Police Arrest Eight Armed Robbery and Drug Suspects

The Adamawa State Police Command arrested eight suspects involved in armed robbery and drug dealing in Yola South Local Government Area. The operation, coordinated by the command's spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroj, was executed based on credible intelligence aimed at dismantling a criminal network and preventing violent crime in the state.

The suspects, identified as Bawuro Mohammad (23), Hamza Hassan (18), Aliyu Abubakar (20), Alfa Abubakar (22), Fahat Hamma (20), Dahiru Usman (20), Ibrahim Samaila (22), and Jefe Jostin (25), were apprehended in various locations within Shagari Yold Pate and Wuro Hausa. During the operation, police recovered dangerous weapons and banned substances believed to be connected to the suspects' unlawful activities.

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Kabiru Hassan, ordered a thorough investigation into the matter and assured the public that any suspects found culpable would be prosecuted according to the law.
