EKEDC Schedules Three-Day Power Outage in Lekki

The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has scheduled a three-day power outage in the Lekki district of Lagos to enable network upgrade work. This outage is set to occur from Thursday, March 13, to Saturday, March 15, 2026, with electricity supply unavailable daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The upgrade aims to enhance the electricity distribution infrastructure and improve service delivery to customers in the area. EKEDC has issued a notice to inform residents and businesses about the temporary disruption, which will affect the Lekki district and surrounding communities.

The company emphasized that this upgrade is part of a broader effort to modernize power infrastructure and improve the reliability of electricity supply within its franchise area. This is not the first scheduled outage for EKEDC customers, as similar disruptions have been implemented previously to allow for maintenance and upgrades across its distribution system.
