EKEDC Reports N39.5bn Revenue, ATC&C Losses Drop

Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDC) announced a year-to-date revenue of N39.5 billion, with Aggregate Technical, Commercial and Collection (ATC&C) losses decreasing to 19.71%. This information was shared with the Senate Committee on Privatisation, led by Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau, during an oversight visit to EKEDC’s headquarters in Lagos.

The management team, including Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Wola Condotti, highlighted a significant turnaround since the company's privatization in 2013, noting that ATC&C losses have dropped from 35.37% to 19.71% as of 2026 year-to-date.

Condotti reported that average monthly revenue billed has increased from under N2 billion in 2013 to N39.5 billion, and the number of metered customers has risen from 183,808 to 584,193. The company also informed the Committee about key milestones achieved between 2024 and 2026, including the full settlement of market obligations to the Nigerian Independent System Operator, Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Plc, and other counterparties.
