Nigerian DisCos Generate N203.61bn Revenue in April 2026

In April 2026, the Nigerian electricity distribution companies (DisCos) collected a total revenue of N203.61 billion from a total bill of N252.43 billion, reflecting a collection efficiency of 80.66%. This was a slight increase from the previous month's efficiency of 79.59%.

The DisCos received electricity worth N302.96 billion, with the bill efficiency recorded at 83.32%, down from 83.89% in March. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) reported that the average actual collection was N102.13 per kilowatt hour (kWh), compared to the allowed average tariff of N124.39 per kWh.

Eko Disco achieved the highest revenue recovery efficiency at 102.09%, followed by Port Harcourt Disco at 90.39%, and Abuja Disco at 89.77%. In terms of bill efficiency, Enugu Disco led with 92.77%, while Kaduna Disco had the lowest bill efficiency at 62.81%.

Kano Disco recorded the lowest revenue collection efficiency at 49.89%.
