Ekiti Govt Urges Regent Support for Successful Reign Amidst Transition

The Ekiti State Government urged regents to avoid a "sit-tight syndrome" following the installation of the first female regent in Aramoko Ekiti. Governor Biodun Oyebanji's administration advised female citizens occupying traditional stools to shun actions that could perpetuate temporary positions.

The Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye, emphasized the need for support and cooperation to ensure the successful reign of Regent Princess Serifat Owolabi.

The installation followed a vacancy in the Alara stool due to the demise of Oba Olu Adegoke Adeyemi Arakale. The call for unity and development in the ancient town of Aramoko Ekiti was highlighted.
