PDP's Oluyede Aims to Unite for Ekiti Guber Victory

Wole Oluyede, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for Ekiti State, proclaimed himself the "Omolaja," a unifier that the APC fears, during a stakeholders' meeting in Ado Ekiti. He emphasized the need for unity within the PDP to secure victory in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026.

Oluyede criticized the APC-led government for failing to develop Ekiti despite its resources and vowed to deliver an independent power plant, improve road infrastructure, and address unpaid salaries and pensions. He urged party members to mobilize and align their strategies to ensure a collective effort towards victory.

The PDP's campaign director, Makunjuola Ogundip, and other party leaders echoed Oluyede's call for unity and action, stressing that the time for division is over and that the party must rise to reclaim power in Ekiti.
