Ekiti Police Commissioner Falad Vows to Combat Crime

Michael Adegoroye Falad, the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for Ekiti State, has committed to eradicating criminality within the state. He emphasized the necessity of strong collaboration with sister security agencies, local vigilantes, and community leaders to effectively tackle crime.

Falad highlighted that the police cannot achieve security in isolation and called for synergy among all stakeholders to safeguard lives and property. He urged residents to be proactive in sharing information about suspicious activities, stating that the police require credible channels for intelligence gathering.

Falad also encouraged community-based security consciousness and reminded residents to remain vigilant, especially since criminal elements often thrive in environments lacking community cooperation. He assured that the police command would uphold the rule of law while warning against human rights violations, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
