Ekiti State Election: APC, PDP, ADC Compete for Votes

The governorship election in Ekiti State involves the All Progressives Congress (APC), People's Democratic Party (PDP), and African Democratic Congress (ADC) vying for votes across 16 local government areas. The APC, represented by Segun Dipe, aims for a landslide victory, targeting 500,000 votes and expressing confidence in winning all local governments.

The PDP, through Sanya Atofarati, anticipates securing at least 10 local governments and believes they will win 60 percent of the vote. ADC's Jackson Adebayo also expresses confidence, citing goodwill from the people despite concerns regarding the incumbency factor.

Each party has deployed agents to monitor the election, with APC and PDP each deploying 2,000 agents across 2,445 polling units. The Nigeria Police Force, represented by Deputy Inspector General Mustapha Fayoad, assures adequate security measures are in place to ensure a credible election process.
